Returns and Refunds

We at Bizsan Rug Gallery want to ensure you are entirely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns policy is 30 days upon receipt for a full refund or exchange – provided the item is returned complete and in its original condition. Bizsan will cover the cost of return shipping within **Hungary** for non-sale items, but the original shipping cost will not be refunded. You must pay the return shipping cost for sale, prototype, or ex-display carpets.

To return an item, please first contact us. We can arrange collection from your home, workplace, or another address within Hungary. If you are located outside Hungary, please inquire about shipping rates for your region.

We recommend keeping the original packaging to make returning items simpler. If you no longer have the original packaging, we can suggest alternatives, or provide new packaging free of charge.

Please note: Returns are not possible on any custom or bespoke items ordered in our showroom or online, as these are specially commissioned to your exact specifications. To avoid disappointment, please verify whether an item is returnable before ordering. For security reasons, refunds can only be made to the original payment method used.

Delivery and Lead Times

In-stock carpets typically ship within 3–14 business days depending on availability and your destination. If your item must be sourced from outside Hungary or is made-to-order, please expect a longer shipping lead time of approximately 10–14 weeks (handloomed) or16–22 weeks (hand-knotted).

All shipping times are estimates. Larger rug sizes may require additional time to produce. Our customer service will contact you post-order to confirm shipping times.

After dispatch, you’ll receive an email with tracking information from our shipping provider once your order has left our warehouse. Our team may reach out if local Bizsan logistics can expedite delivery within Budapest or the surrounding areas.

Shipping Charges

Shipments within Budapest are free of charge. For addresses elsewhere in Hungary, shipping charges are based on your rug’s weight and size and will be calculated at checkout.

International shipments will vary by volumetric weight and destination. Customs or duty fees may apply and are determined by your local authorities. Please note that shipping times for international orders can be longer.

Time of shipping is not of the essence in this Agreement. We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits, or damages arising from any reasonable delay or unforeseen circumstances outside Bizsan’s control.
